The Mountlake Terrace Evergreen Awards recognize property owners and renters who take pride in their community by beautifying, renovating, and improving their homes, condominiums and businesses and adding features that promote sustainability.
Nominations are welcomed and encouraged from all community members. You can nominate your own property or one owned by someone else. Properties being marketed for sale and previous winners are not eligible.

Each property nominated is photographed from the front. If there are indoor sustainable features and/or special features in the back or side yard, please let us know, so that arrangements can be made to photograph those areas, as well. We also use photographs that show the condition of a property before improvements are made for transformation nominees.
Honoring the Winners
A committee narrows the nominees and helps plan and host the awards ceremony in September. The ceremony includes a presentation of photographs of winners’ homes or businesses. Plaques and certificates will be presented to winners. Please take the time to view the Evergreen Award Scripts and also photos of winners.

|3: Best Maintained Multifamily Property||Multifamily sites that have attractive landscaping, well-kept appearance, pleasing facade, and are assets to their neighborhoods.|
|4: Transformation Award||Homes that have recently been transformed and refreshed with new paint, landscaping or other significant improvements.|
|5: Sustainability Award||Residences, businesses and multifamily properties that add green features such as rain gardens, rain barrels, solar heating, natural cooling and native landscaping to help protect and preserve the environment and reduce their carbon footprint.|
