The City of Mountlake Terrace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Commission was created in August of 2020. The seven (7) member DEI Commission has a mission of promoting and embracing diversity through action, education, and guidance. The Commission seeks to foster an understanding that includes, accepts, respects and appreciates each individual member of our community.
Being a new Commission, the initial terms are staggered, with subsequent appointments having a term of three years. Therefore, three (3) of the initial terms will expire on June 30, 2022 and four (4) of the initial terms will expire
on June 30, 2023.

Mountlake Terrace Anti-Racist Coalition (ARC) is sponsoring a drive through/walk up voter registration event on Saturday, September 26, 2020, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the corner of 232nd Street SW and 57th Avenue W (next to the former Rogers Market site). They will also be providing face masks and hand sanitizer at this event.
