Each year the City Council adopts an update to the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for planned projects. The TIP is based on priority needs and requirements of funding, concurrency, safety, preservation, land use, and other community needs. It includes improvements to the sidewalks and other non-motorized transportation facilities such as bike lanes as well as improvements for motorized vehicular travel.
