Fireworks Information

Keep our community safe!

As a reminder to Mountlake Terrace residents and guests, personal use fireworks are not allowed within the city. The City of Mountlake Terrace Police Department and South County Fire request that residents and visitors respect the city's fireworks laws and consider attending one of the public fireworks displays and work together to keep our community safe all year long.

Observe the city’s fireworks laws.

The sale, possession and discharge of all fireworks are prohibited in Mountlake Terrace. Violations will result in confiscation of fireworks and fines. In Southwest Snohomish County call 425-407-3999 to report fireworks violations. Please call 9-1-1 for immediate threats to life or property. When possible, please talk to your neighbors about your concerns regarding fireworks.

Keep pets safe and inside.

Fireworks can upset and frighten pets resulting in them trying to escape the sights and sounds. Animal shelters report a dramatic increase in lost pets around July 4. Please do your part to keep your pets inside and secure.
